Black Girls Welcome Margaritaville?
If you’ve never had the chance to experience the cool island vibes of Margaritaville while listening to Jimmy Buffet, then you are in for a treat. Cleveland is now one of 32 cities that has it’s very own restaurant located on the East Bank of the Flats. I cannot tell you how excited I was to kick back, relax, and enjoy a delicious margarita with my scrumptious meal. The island décor will put you in a tranquil mood and you’ll definitely have no worries. I sat at the very infamous, It’s Five 0’clock Somewhere Bar take in the view. There are some main staples about each of the restaurant locations that are the same, however, each one is still designed a bit differently. Let me tell you what you can expect when you visit.
Indoor and Outdoor Dining
This location has a lot of space. There is plenty of indoor dining in the main room and also near the It’s Five o’clock Somewhere Bar. There is also an outdoor patio in the front of the restaurant that gives you the views of the east bank of the flats. If you don’t want to be land locked, then check out the Landshark Bar and Grill portion of the restaurant on the top deck from there you can look over towards the west bank of the flats and watch the activity on Lake Erie.
Margaritaville Restaurants are known for a couple of great things and the food is one of them. The first appetizer listed on their menu is the volcano nachos. Boy did they get this right! It’s truly stacked this tall and tastes just as amazing as it looks. The menu is a broad spectrum of hearty appetizers to burgers and complete entrées. There is something appealing for everyone!
Yep, you read that right! It’s five 0’clock somewhere bar is shaped like a square where half of the customers are inside and the other half outside giving you the perfect place to enjoy both worlds. While the Landshark Bar is located on the upper deck of the restaurant giving you the views of Lake Erie and the west bank of the Flats. The other bar area is located on the inside of the restaurant in a step up area that makes it it’s own. I personally enjoyed the indoor/outdoor bar and the margaritas are the best! No matter which one you choose, you won’t be disappointed.
