The second largest performing arts center in the country outside of New York has announced the seven show that will make up this year’s Broadway series.
As one of Cleveland’s most anticipated events of the year, Playhouse Square announced the seven shows in its 2022-2023 Key Bank Broadway Series during a streaming broadcast on YouTube.
“Our just-announced season features everything from beloved classics to the hottest new hits,” said Playhouse Square President and CEO Gina Vernaci. “We are delivering seven new reasons to love Broadway in Cleveland and we simply cannot wait for these shows to take the stage in front of the best audiences in the country!”
Leading up to the announcement Playhouse Square had previously announced the return of the musical Hamilton in December. There were also hints on social media of shows that would be coming to Cleveland.
