Q: Cleveland has been rated one of the worst cities for Black Women, why don’t you tell stories about how hard it is to live here?
A: At Black Girl in the CLE, we believe in “Do no harm” reporting and storytelling. We understand and acknowledge that many in our community have experienced loss and trauma due to systems beyond their control. We believe that our stories should focus on solutions and not cause undue stress to our audience.
Our mission is to educate and inform our audiences with the information and resources they need to help improve the quality of their lives.
