The Cleveland Museum of Art’s Zodiac Garden Party was an enchanting evening where art, astrology, and lively entertainment collided. The exclusive Spring Members Event, held on March 29 from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m., transformed the museum into a celestial celebration, inviting attendees to embrace their zodiac sign identities through fashion and art.

The night began in the Horace Kelly Art Foundation North Lobby, where guests checked in with their tickets and IDs before stepping into a world of starry wonder. I was fascinated by the large jumbotron display on the Museum’s wall, which highlighted all the zodiac signs represented throughout the night. The atmosphere was zealous as members, dressed in outfits inspired by their zodiac signs, mingled under cosmic décor, in wonder at each other’s creativity.

One of the most entertaining parts of the night was trying to guess which zodiac sign each person was channeling. From bold, fiery ensembles representing Aries and lions, and yellow representing Leo, flowing attire embodying Pisces and Libra, the creativity was endless. Strangers became fast friends as they laughed and debated whether someone’s shimmering gold outfit screamed Sagittarius or if a moody, all-black ensemble was a nod to Scorpio.

The Gumbo Dance Party set the tone with high-energy beats, keeping the crowd moving throughout the night. They also had a live band on stage playing alongside the DJ. The band was very interactive and even walked through the crowd while playing, keeping everyone engaged. The party was rocking all night long, and the dance floor stayed jam-packed. For those seeking deeper insight into their destinies, Oktober’s tarot readings provided a magical touch, drawing long lines of curious guests eager to uncover what the stars had in store. Meanwhile, the Stargazer’s Tour: Zodiac at the CMA allowed attendees to embark on a self-guided journey through the museum, discovering the masterpieces within the galleries, open until 9:00 p.m.

The Provenance Café and Parker Hannifin Corporation Donor Gallery offered themed beverages and small plates. Each guest received a complimentary drink and food ticket, with additional purchases available. Signature cocktails, mocktails, and delicious bites added a flavorful touch to the night’s celestial theme. The truffle fries were a hit, and the Starry Night drink tasted terrific. Complimentary parking and shuttle service from the Cleveland Botanical Garden made accessibility effortless, allowing guests to fully immerse themselves in the evening’s festivities. The event felt both exclusive and inclusive, fostering connections between fellow art lovers, astrology enthusiasts, and museum members.
