This began a long conversation about the energy that Black women feel and carry about their hair.
In this series we’ll explore our relationship with our hair. We’ll look at how it’s been politicized, and policed in state houses and board rooms across the country and how for some it’s made them sick. We’re talking about affordability, going to the shops, hair wash days and everything in between. Plus we’ll share what you’ve told us these last few weeks about hair
